Email or Print a Payment Receipt

After processing a customer’s credit card payment there might be a need to email or print a payment receipt to the customer for their records. The payment receipt is meant to emulate that receipt printer, albeit in an 8.5” x 11” page size.

 

TIP:  A payment receipt can only be printed when the Credit Card tab is selected in the Receipts window.  If the tab is not selected, a regular Receipt print window report will be produced.

 

To print a copy of the payment receipt to Printer, Screen, or PDF file:

 

Open the Receipts window and find the entry if not already on screen. Click the Credit Card tab and the select the Print menu, as shown in the following screen.


 

 

Choose a report destination.

 

The printed receipt will appear like the example shown in the following screen:


 

 

 

Email a Payment Receipt

 

To email a copy of the payment receipt:

 

Open the Receipts window and find the entry if not already on screen. Click the Credit Card tab and click Email, as shown in the following screen.

The following “Address Email Message” window will appear.

 

 

























Select an Email address to send To/CC/BCC and choose the Attach Receipt PDF checkbox.

 

Click Compose to complete. This will then open your default email client with an email including the payment receipt as a PDF attachment.
