Update the Demo Sample Company

The following explains how to update the demo sample company on macOS.  The main reason to update a sample company is so that one can be used that has been pre configured to match the company needs while evaluating Connected.

NOTE:  Please ensure the Connected demo has been run once and then closed before following the steps below.

1: Select the "Go" menu with the OPTION key pressed

2: Select "Library", shown below, which is only visible when the OPTION key is pressed.

3: When the "Library" folder opens, select and open the "Application Support" folder.

4: Find the "Connected 10" folder and then "Connected 10.3.5 Demo" within.

5: Locate the "Sample Companies" folder and open.  The full path is shown below.

6: Unzip the replacement sample company received.  For example a sample company may be called "Acme Inventory.df1".  Drag that unzipped sample company into the the "Sample Companies" folder and select "Replace" when asked to replace the file of the same name.

7: Close all open windows and launch the demo software.  Select the updated sample company from the Connected 10 Demo Assistant window.

8: Once selected the updated file will open and the Log on Name and Password will be automatically completed.
