Self Serve Password Reset

The following are the steps to do a self serve reset for a Connected on Demand account password. This can be used if a password has expired or forgotten.


To reset a Connected on Demand account password:

1) Open up a web browser and type hosted.accountek.com into the url field.


2) Click Forgot Password as shown below. 




3) Enter in the info as shown below and then click Submit.

User name = The email used to log into Connected on Demand
Email address = The email you set up as your recovery email


Please Note: In most cases, both fields will use the same email address. 




4) Check the email that was used in the email address field.

The email will have a link to create a new password. Check the Junk/Spam folder if the email does not arrive in your Inbox. Click on the link, as shown in the sample message below:



5) Enter and confirm a new password and click Reset.




Once a new password has been established you will receive a confirmation email that the password has been changed.

Use the new password to access the Connected on Demand.


NOTE: If you are using a macOS to access Connected on Demand, make sure that the password is updated to the Remote Desktop/Windows application.
