Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) Security Update - May 2024

As part of our continuous efforts to enhance the Connected on Demand platform, Accountek will introduce a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) security update. This standard authentication method will bolster security on our cloud platform by periodically requesting account credential re-verification.

MFA will begin starting May 1, 2024, and be required at the start of the month for each user account.

How does the Connected on Demand MFA Work?

On, or after the 1st of each month, users will be required to visit our authentication website to re-verify their Connected on Demand account credentials. Verification is done via email, which will be your Connected on Demand login ID.

MFA Step by Step Process

1) Visit the https://mycloudmfa.com website, as shown in the following screen.

2) Enter your Username and Password in the fields provided.  This is the same credentials (email/password) that are used to access your Connected on Demand account.

3) After successfully entering your credentials, the following screen will appear requesting a verification code:

4) An email will be sent to the requested email address, as shown below.

5) A successful entry will be noted and you will be forwarded to the Connected on Demand access page.

The MFA process is now completed until the first day of the following month, at which time, it will need to be repeated.

NOTE:  Once the MFA is completed, proceed to login as normal. For example, a macOS user can login using the Microsoft Remote Desktop app and a Windows user can click their existing RDP connection or download a new one by logging https://hosted.accountek.com
