Connected 12.x System Requirements

Connected 12.0 System Requirements (updated 01/15/2026)

macOS 26 Tahoe - Connected 12.0 is the only version compatible with macOS Tahoe. 

Connected is a 64-bit application for macOS, PC, and SaaS/Hosted Cloud. Connected 12.0 runs natively on Apple Silicon (M4, M5,.etc) and supports the latest macOS 26 Tahoe and macOS Sequoia update. Connected also supports the latest Windows 11 update. Visit for previous version system requirements.

Connected on Demand SaaS (Hosted Cloud)

macOS: macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or greater

PC: Windows 10/11 (Note: Windows 10 Support expired Oct 14, 2025)

Login to Connected on Demand 

NOTE: There is no Desktop or Server Software required for Connected on Demand.

Connected on Demand will have Connected 12.0 update pushed in March/April 2026.

Connected Desktop/Client Software

Connected is a 64-bit accounting and ERP application for macOS, PC, and Hosted Cloud.

macOS Desktop

System Requirements: macOS 13 (Ventura) or greater. 350 MB of free hard disk space, 8 GB RAM, Intel or Apple M series chips, and screen resolution of 1600x900 or greater. Retina Display support included for compatible screens.

NOTE: macOS Time Machine is not recommended to be running during the use of Connected on a workstation or server.

PC – Windows 11 Desktop

Min System Requirements: 350 MB of free hard disk space, 8 GB RAM, Intel i5 or greater processor, Windows 11 Professional. Screen resolution of 1600x900 or greater. UHD display support included for compatible screens.

Connected 12.x Server/Network Configurations

The following section outlines the required server/network configurations based on the platform/client operating system that is accessing the Connected data file. NOTE: Ethernet is recommended for all multi-user versions of Connected. Although wireless networking options are available, they are not recommended.

macOS Clients with a macOS Server

1 User: macOS 13 (Ventura) or greater. Connected ODB Server not required.

2+ Users: Dedicated server running macOS 13 (Ventura), or greater, to serve data. Install and use the Connected ODB server software (version 1.78) on a server.

NOTE: All multi-user versions of Connected 12.x that use macOS clients require the Connected ODB Server Software to host data on either macOS or PC Server.

NOTE:  macOS Time Machine is not recommended to be running during the use of Connected on a workstation or server.

PC Clients with Windows Server

2-4 Users: Dedicated Windows 11 computer to serve data. NOTE: It is recommended that all multi-user versions of Connected use the ODB server software.

5+ Users: Dedicated Windows 2019/2022/2025 server (64 bit) running the Connected ODB server software (version 1.78) on server. Contact Connected Support at (888) 414-2196 for more information on the ODB Server Software. NOTE: Write caching should be turned OFF on the PC workstations accessing the data.  This is not required for the server computer

macOS and PC Clients with a macOS Server

2+ Users: Dedicated macOS 13 Ventura (or greater) server. Install and use the Connected ODB server software (version 1.78) on the server.

NOTE: macOS Time Machine is not recommended to be running during the use of Connected on a workstation or server.

macOS and PC Clients with Windows Server

2+ Users: Dedicated Windows Server running 64 bit version of Windows 11 or Windows Server 2019/2022/2025.   Install and use the Connected ODB server software (version 1.78) on the server. Contact Connected Support at (888) 414-2196 for more information on the ODB Server Software.

NOTE: All multi-user versions of Connected 11.x that use macOS clients require the Connected ODB Server Software to host data on either macOS or PC Server.

NOTE: Write caching should be turned OFF on the Windows workstations accessing the data.  This is not required for the server computer
