Inventory:Demand Report

The Demand report offers essential forecasting for product ordering by projecting future on-hand quantities. This report compiles items with at least one open Sales Order and/or Purchase Order, organized by inventory location. It presents the current Available Inventory quantity, followed by Sales Order and Purchase Order transactions in chronological order based on required or expected dates. Additionally, the report provides insight into future stock levels by factoring in Purchase Orders and subtracting Sales Order quantities.

NOTE: Items will only appear on this report if they have at least one outstanding Purchase Order or Sales Order for the specified location. Even if an item has on-hand inventory, it won’t display on the report unless there are open orders associated with it for that specific location.

Report Filters:

• Select the "Only confirmed sales orders" checkbox to exclude unconfirmed customer orders.
• Select from "All Items", "Range of Items", or "Items with Analysis Code" and enter a code.
• Choose All Locations or Location Range and enter a range of locations.
